Little Show of Horrors

Little Show of Horrors is the 4th annual collaboration of Da Vinci Art Alliance with Bartram's Garden.  The multi-media show, installed in the historic barn at Bartram's, 54th St. and Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, will offer a variety of interpretations--historic, comic, scientific, naturalistic, artistic, horrific--on the theme of Darwin and carnivorous plants, in honor of Darwin’s 200th birthday, and a take-off on the cult-film classic, Little Shop of Horrors.

An opening awards reception will be held on Friday, August 14, 5-8 pm; an all-ages 2-hour clay modeling workshop on the theme of the Venus flytrap will be taught on Sunday, August 23, 1-3 pm, by Da Vinci artist Rachel Citrino.  All events are free and open to the public; RSVP requested for the opening reception and advance registration required for the workshop (limited to 12 participants).  Contact msnyder@bartramsgarden.org to reserve your space.
