Open Lens V is the fifth installment of Da Vinci Art Alliance's annual photo arts juried competition. The resulting exhibition will be a survey of the current state of contemporary photography and photo arts. As such, this competition is open to all photographic mediums, exploring any subject matter.

Open Lens V is open to both DVAA members and non-members.

Lori Waselchuk is a Philadelphia-based photographer, videographer, and multidisciplinary artist. Through photography, video, and multimedia, Waselchuk tells stories that connect and engage communities. As a freelance photojournalist, Waselchuk's photographs have appeared in magazines and newspapers worldwide, including Newsweek, LIFE, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times. She has done photography work with several international aid organizations including CARE, the UN World Food Program, Médecins Sans Frontières, and the Vaccine Fund. Currently Waselchuk is the Exhibitions and Programs Coordinator at the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center.

1st prize - $150 cash
2nd prize - 1 year Premium Membership ($125 value)
3rd prize - 1 year General Membership ($75 value)
